As expected one of the big hurdles for fareless transit is supporting individuals suffering homelessness. Not that the issue is them riding but the safety and risk of carrying them and detraction from those needing the bus for transportation. Didn't realize so many transit agencies were considering fareless service

This is precisely why fare schedules should be illegal at the statewide level. Its just a way for staff and politicians to avoid defending raising the fare in the future.

So apparently "communities of concern" is taboo now. Why don't they just name them "Bay area's best communities"? My point being the names can be changed to anything eventually the connotation behind them will be carried. It would be more beneficial to support them then to worry about their naming.
